You are invited to an afternoon in the Litchfield Hills. Woodbury’s Main Street is home to many fine businesses, antique stores and beautiful old homes. Spend some time – enjoy a meal at one of the many quality eateries, stop and shop at participating businesses or take a stroll along Main Street.
There are 67 businesses and organizations participating. Many will be offering a special or activity on this day. Check their website/Facebook page for details. There is also entertainment and locations for family fun.
There are also three locations where businesses and organizations can be found. The Glebe House Museum (49 Hollow Road), Woodbury Barns and Farm (557 Main Street South) and at the North Green (Rt.6/Rt. 47).
PARKING
Parking for the event is at participating businesses.
Parking for Glebe House Museum visitors will be in Hollow Park.
Parking for visitors to the North Green will be at Mitchell School (School Street). From there it is a short walk to the North Green.
Parking for visitors to Woodbury Barns and Farm will be on-site.
TROLLEY (Noon to 6:00 p.m.)
There will be a trolley. The trolley will stop at specific locations during the event. There is limited seating. The trolley is on a first come, first serve basis. It is for your enjoyment. It should not be relied upon for transportation to different venues. There is no time schedule as it depends on the number of visitors at each stop getting on and off and local traffic. The trolley will stop running promptly at 6:00 p.m.
The trolley stops in order are:
New Morning Market, Mitchell School, Glebe House Museum, Woodbury Brewing Company, Woodbury Barns and Farm, Cannon Green and Woodbury Farm, Feed and Power Equipment.

Please note: The trolley stop at New Morning Market is behind the store near Davis Animal Hospital in the back parking lot area.
MUSIC & DANCE PERFORMANCES
There is a variety of musical entertainment and dance performances for your enjoyment.
NORTH GREEN – 1:00-4:00 p.m.
RAMA SAXAPHONE QUARTET – This group performed in Woodbury on Make Music Day this past June. The Quartet was formed in July of 2017 in Southbury, CT. The group features Nancy Perda and Al Thompson on alto saxophones, Michael Ingber on tenor saxophone and Rusty Brockmann on baritone saxophone. They are known for their appealing mixture of musical genres and dynamic renditions of traditional and contemporary tunes.
SOPH AND GRACE – Sophia Malli & Grace Cuccia, known as ‘Soph & Grace’, have been performing together since they were 12 years old. This duo hails from Connecticut and are singer/songwriters. They play guitar and consider their style to be country with the influence of other genres such as classical country, folk, rock and pop. They are known for their interesting harmonies, and ‘old school’ sound. Sometimes they are joined by a family member when performing. They will be joined by Dominic Cuccia on drums.
MICHAEL GARVEY - Michael is a Woodbury resident and currently a Senior at Nonnewaug High School. He is active in the Arts at school. He has performed in the school’s production of – Into the Woods, Footloose, Bye Bye Birdie and The Addams Family. He recently joined the Jazz band. He enjoys writing his own music. He has studied guitar for seven years. Michael also plays the piano and drums. He has released two albums of his own rock music.
WOODBURY BREWING COMPANY – Noon – 5:00p.m.
WOODBURY BALLET - The afternoon will open with a dance performance by the Woodbury Ballet at 12:15 p.m. The company was formed in 1999 by Ms. Randyl Errica a former Dancer and graduate of the Teacher Certification program with the Hartford Ballet. She currently serves as Artistic Director for the company, Ms. Errica is an advocate for the Arts. She believes it is important allow dancers performance opportunities at a young age to build confidence and instill pride. The dancers range in age from 12-16. They will be performing a contemporary ballet called, “Take 5”.

REDZONE - This Connecticut Rock band was formed in 2011. They are known for their high energy sound. REDZONE is Bernie Costa, John Ciaralli, Mike Bell, Steve Bell and Eddie Soderlund. This group of five talented musicians combines guitar, keyboards, bass and drum with moving vocal harmonies, REDZONE delivers. If you enjoy Journey, Styx, Bon Jovi and that high energy dance music from the 70’s and 80’s you will enjoy spending some time with REDZONE.
CJR BAND – This Connecticut band was formed in 2016 and hails from Fairfield County. The group features Ralph Vacarro on Drums, Craig Welton on Bass and Joe Summa on guitar. They cover the classics from the 60’s to modern hard rock. Their playlist includes artists like Billy Joel, The Who, the Eagles, Pearl Jam and Van Halen to name a few.
WOODBURY BARNS & FARM – 2:30 p.m.
WOODBURY BALLET – The Woodbury Ballet will be performing a contemporary ballet called “Take 5”. These dancers range in age from 12-16 years of age. They are under the direction of Ms. Randyl Errica, Artistic Director of the Woodbury Ballet. to allow the dancer performance opportunities at an early age in order to
FAMILY FUN
In addition to Arts entertainment, there are places where families can have some fun.
NORTH GREEN – There will be FACE PAINTING and opportunity to try your hand at a game of “CORN HOLE”.
GLEBE HOUSE – Families can tour the Glebe House Museum and participate in colonial games.
WOODBURY BARNS & FARM - There will be carnival type fun – Bounce House and food one might enjoy at a carnival.
PARKS - Take a break from the dining and shopping and enjoy a walk along the Pomperaug River at Hollow Park, spend some time at the playground or take a hike up to the Observation Tower at Orenaug Park. Both parks are nestled close to Main Street.
You may also find activities at participating businesses.
DRAWING
At the end of the day, there will be a drawing for a $400.00 American Express gift card. No purchase is required. Visitors may enter the drawing as many times as desired by completing a ticket at each participating business/organization they visit before 4:30 p.m. The drawing will be held at Woodbury Brewing Company at 5:30 p.m. The drawing will be live on our Facebook event page. The winning ticket will be drawn by Woodbury First Selectwoman, Barbara K. Perkinson. Winner need not be present.
